We currently support people who suffer with mental health, learning difficulties and physical disabilities. Our service is not limited and can be tailored to meet your requirements.

Community Outreach
New Futures Support provide all manner of assistance in aiding individuals to live as independently as possible, for example support with every day tasks, shopping, cooking, cleaning, healthy eating, accessing the local community, help with employment and education, most importantly to help build natural friendships within the community and support service users to reach their full potential.

We pride ourselves in finding the relevant care for each individual, this could include companionship and having a friendly face to talk to, helping a loved one or family member to get out and about and increase their social activity and exercise such as going for a walk, to the cinema, out for coffee, supporting service users to social events, appointments or meetings, aiding to access a new educational course, a job application or interview.

At New Futures Support we will help recognise and assist with financial difficulties by encouraging and supporting to set up payment plans or seek debt advise.
We have experience of working with service users struggling with addictions and will encourage and assist with visits to doctors, chemist, support groups, meetings with professionals, probation or court appearances if required.

The team are all 'human' we encourage and support without being critical or judgemental. Every service user is unique and New Futures Support are there to help enhance their lives and if appropriate the lives of their families.

We recognise that everybody deserves to feel appreciated and supported.
Service users shouldn't feel alone or isolated, too anxious to speak up or worried about other people's opinions.

New Futures Support believe in open and honest relationships.

Individual
As a company we operate a person centred approach where each service user will receive their own individualised care plan specific to their needs.

We endeavour to find the perfect support worker or PA for each service user.
Welcome to our Animal Therapy
Disadvantaged and vulnerable people have the chance to build relationships with animals and gain experience whilst learning about them and how to look after them. If they are interested we are able to teach basic riding skills and organise rides around the local countryside.
We work with lots of different individuals with;
Autism/communication difficulties?
Learning difficulties?
Emotional trauma/distress?
Physical health problems?
A ‘pushed-out’ learner who is disengaged?
Low confidence and or self esteem?
Mental Health
We have horses, lambs, dogs and guinea pigs with us at the moment but will continually be adding to our 4 legged family.
Our aim is to boost confidence and emotional well being, increase communication skills and self esteem. The animals help people that attend our sessions develop other qualities such as reflection, empathy and calmness and all alongside promoting understanding and learning new skills.
Animal therapy is known to achieve results when nothing else has worked.

Animals are non-judgemental and therefore people are able to develop relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
Our animals have a calm nature, and bring about calmness in people around them, helping them to concentrate, communicate more effectively and engage in learning, all of which have a positive impact and help develop skills that are transferrable to many areas of their lives.
Horses are known to have a sensitive nature and are inclined to mirror behaviour, they read our body language and react or respond instantly.
They are naturally a fight or flight animal and are always looking to feel safe and find companionship and leadership. They can become agitated and even fearful if a person is aggressive and disrespectful. We help our service users discover how to be calm, confident and how to make requests rather than demands.
We provide a safe and welcoming environment, where every person feels valued, loved and respected as a unique individual. New Futures Support offer a non-judgemental space where everybody is accepted in a place that they can belong and achieve.
Being in an environment very different to the traditional learning environment and structured school setting gives everyone the opportunity to excel in many different ways Being outdoors and learning from the animals gives the service user a sense of responsibility and contributes to producing unique and rewarding emotional connections.
